During this section, we’ll review blog basics like theory, current market trends, audience targeting, branding, and search optimization. We’ll also do a quick group exercise to walk through key blog branding steps.

Part II: Blog extras. Other non-text media.
Creating and maintaining a successful blog requires have a content plan. We’ll cover the different categories/topics to discuss, how to develop a voice, create an editorial calendar. In addition, we’ll review blog must-haves like an “About” page and the different format options you have.

Part III: Blogs socialize. Blogging-Bring your friends along.
Learn how to socialize using blogs and ways to cross-promote it offline and online. In addition, we’ll review the best ways to get engagement from friends and others in your organization.

Part IV: Blog metrics.
During this last section, we will review how to track the results from your blogging, socializing and publishing efforts.
